Pemberton BC is located 30 minutes north of Whistler and has a quaint small town charm that makes it unique. Home to just over 2500 residents, Pemberton lies under the magnificent 8000′ foot peak of Mt Currie.
Pemberton is an agricultural community that co exists with lifestyle and adventure.
Pemberton is known as the GATEWAY TO ADVENTURE as it is nestled in the epicenter of four valleys. Pemberton is known for its world class mountain biking, golf, hiking, jet boating and backcountry skiing.
Pemberton is also known for it’s seed potatoes and it is a major supplier across North America. There is an increasing amount of Organic farming in the Valley that supplies locals and restaurants with their produce.
Pemberton was the fastest growing community in Canada in 2008. It continues to develop in a tasteful and sensitive manner. A newly constructed community center with a library, meeting rooms, workout facility was built in 2004.
The Slow Food Cycle is now the largest community event in Pemberton. This is a tremendous event that brings people together from all over the Pacific North west, the lower mainland, Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton to bicycle the gorgeous Pemberton Meadows and showcase the local produce, meat, and artisans.
